The walk is to Lennox Bridge (which is the oldest surviving stone arch bridge in Australia) and spans Lapstone Creek. The walk takes in Chalmers Lookout and Marges Lookout and Lapstone Tunnel. It is on well-marked bush tracks with some stairs for that extra challenge. As the Tunnel is closed the walk is no longer a loop so we will return the same way. Please note this is only Peter's second walk as a Leader so your support is greatly appreciated.

It is along five beaches (Patonga, Pearl, Umina, Ocean and Ettalong) and then parklands. There is a steep climb on a bush track from Patonga and then downhill on a fire trail and streets to Pearl Beach. There are extensive views, from the top of the climb, of the Hawkesbury River, Pittwater and Barrenjoey. Another headland has to be negotiated before reaching Umina Beach and the long beach walk to the ferry wharf at Ettalong. We now enter suburban streets for a short while, passing under the Rip Bridge, before the parklands we follow to Woy Woy.

This mid-morning walk will commence at Roseville Station (east side) via the Little Digger Track and a section of the Two Creeks Track to Lindfield Station. The walk will feature the best of early spring for the wildflowers. It is also a pleasant track after rain, as while the tracks can be a bit muddy, there are a number of pretty little waterfalls on Moores and Gordon Creeks which will be in good flow.
