The walk will continue from Palm Beach to Whale Beach via Bangalley Headland to Avalon, Bilgola and finally Newport. A coastal walk for those who prefer to walk and swim on Christmas Day! We will leave our cars at Garrawarra Farm and follow the track down to Burning Palms to Burning Palms Beach and then we will walk onto the Figure of Eight Pool. We will be aiming to walk to the Pool in low tide as the Pool is on a rock shelf which is normally under water. Although there is a track to the Pool there may be slippery rocks but it will be worth it. We then retrace our steps to the beach and walk back to the cars via Burgh Ridge. Walking to the Figure of Eight Pool is optional and if you skip it, the walk will be a Grade 2.
