From the Grassy Hill fire trail we will head off "off track" via Alidade Hill to drop down into the Colo River via an unnamed creek. Then follow the Colo to exit via the Canoe Creek track.

The area may have been burnt out by the November bush fires, so hopefully it will be reasonable cleared of undergrowth, however if so, will be extreemly (black charcole) dirty!!

The drop down from the creek requires some navigation around large boulders and small waterfalls.

The Colo River section is about 2 klms and most easily negotiated by walking or swimming in the river (a good opertunity to wash out blackened clothes!).

The walk will be weather (heat or rain) dependant.

Numbers limited, however bookings will not be taken until 2 weeks prior.

Joint walk with the Bush Club.
