Program Activities

Following the coastal track from Manly to Collaroy passing 9 northern beaches, over 2 or 3 low cliffs, along paved walkways, boardwalks, bush tracks and sand (minimal beach walking). There may be a swimming opportunity depending on the weather. Finishing at Collaroy express bus stop with a drinks diversion for anyone who’s thirsty. 

Join me at an Asian inspired restaurant Bang Tang at 6pm.  The restaurant is at 4/5-15 Orwell Street, Potts Point which is a 5 minute walk from Kings Cross Train Station. $35 PayID to me (0412 622 717) secures a spot. Maximum 10 people, be quick!  Available to members and their partners.

Starting with a ferry ride from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay, this is a stunning walk exploring the southern harbour shores. Highlights include scenic harbour views and pleasant cafes and beaches along the way....and finally a gelato stop at Circular Quay! A joint walk with The Bush Club.

This is a circuit walk starting at Evans Lookout and descending into a dry canyon on well marked tracks with steps. After 1.5km we traverse the canyon floor and cross over the creek with some uneven rock hopping then start the ascent back to Evans Lookout.

Join Lynn and Denise at The Killer Queen Experience at Norths Cammeray. We will be having dinner before hand before enjoying the band/singers recreating the band Queen. Christmas Party for this year will be a lunch with a 'Christmas' dress up theme! Venue to be advised.  Members to pay for own food and drinks. Get into the spirit with your 'Christmas outfit' as there will be prizes for best dressed!  Bad Santa present exchange returns again so if you want to participate bring a gift to the value of $5 (wrapped). Numbers are capped at 30 so be early to register so you don't miss out on an afternoon of fun and frivolity!

See several of the gorgeous Northern Beaches with minimal walking on the sand. Take in the sea air with options for coffee, picnic or takeaway food and a swim.

Christmas Day meander around North Head taking in a few beaches (potential swim) and look-outs. Starting and finishing at Manly Wharf, this will be a leisurely day out. Book early to make sure the walk goes ahead!

Hopefully the weather will not be too hot.  We will be catching the bus from Wynyard and alighting at the Spit Bridge.  We then follow the coastal walk from The Spit to Manly with lunch and a swim on the way.

Subject to weather, we will be meeting at Bondi Junction and then catching a bus to Bondi.  We will then walk the classic Bondi to Coogee walk on a well-marked path.  We then carry onto Malabar for a relaxing drink at the end of the walk.  There will be an opportunity to swim on the way.
