    Enjoy a morning ride from Meadowbank to Marrickville via Olympic Park along the Parramatta River, Flemington, Strathfield and Canterbury along the scenic Cooks River.  You can cycle one way (20km) and depart from Marrickville Station or alternatively return to Meadowbank (40km).  We will be visiting the renown Hellenic Patisserie for Greek sweet and savoury fare.   You can check out their website at http://www.hellenicpatisserie.com.au.  This is a joint activity with the Bush Club.

    An undulating scenic coastal walk including street and track walking commencing from East side of Milsons Point Station via  Cremorne Point, Mosman Bay Wharf, Taronga Zoo and Balmoral Beach with an optional swim at Chinamans Beach before a bus ride to City/North Sydney/St Leonards Station. There's many exit points if you want a shorter walk. (Daylight savings ends on Sunday 6th April which means an extra hour sleep in!). This is a joint walk with the Bush Club.

    Join me at Wilson’s Lebanese Restaurant, 91 Pitt Street, Redfern.  I’m told it's Australia's oldest Lebanese Restaurant and still run by the same family. I have been here a few times and the food is authentic and high quality. We will be walking from Redfern Station at 6.15pm however you can join us at the restaurant at 6.30pm.     We will be walking from Summer Hill and following the paths around Iron Cove with a return to Summer Hill.  We will finish the morning with an optional drink at a pub or cafe. Fingers crossed that the weather will be co-operative. The walk is on well-marked paths with a touch of road walking.

    Join us on this walk around Dangar Island in the Hawkesbury. We will catch the 9.27am train from Hornsby to Brooklyn (Hawkesbury River Station) and then a ferry to Dangar Island. Cost of the ferry is $5.50 concession/$10.90 adult one way. The ferry ride is 30 minutes each way. After a coffee stop, we will explore Dangar Island including a short track in the centre of the island which involves some rock climbing. We then finish with lunch at the Bowling Club (or you can bring your own and eat in the park). Lunch at the Club costs between $20-$30. We then return by ferry back to Brooklyn then catch the train back to Hornsby. Please note there will be a 45-minute wait for the train however Brooklyn has a very good hotel! If you wish to avoid the 45-minute wait for the train you can drive to Brooklyn and catch the ferry. For those catching the train, we will return to Hornsby at 3.30pm. When booking please indicate whether you will be catching the train or driving to Brooklyn.

    Join Ed and Denise on this classic bushwalk through Ku-ring-gai National Park. We will be walking the Sphinx Track down to Bobbin Head following Cowan Creek on a well-marked bush track. After lunch you have a choice as to how you return. Ed will return via Cockle Creek which makes the walk a Grade 3 as there will be some rock hopping. Denise will be return via Bobbin Head Track which makes the walk a Grade 2 as it is on a well-marked fire trail. The pace will be relaxed.

    There is an iconic 80km coastal walk which is known as Bondi to Manly. Peter is planning to walk the length of the walk and we are invited to join him. You can join him on all stages or one. Stage 1 is Bondi to Rose Bay via Watsons Bay some of which is already familiar to us. We will be following the Federation Cliff Walk which is the track between Bondi and Watsons Bay. Then after reaching Watsons Bay we will continue to Rose Bay via Nielsen Park and Parsley Bay. You can drop out along the way.  The pace will be moderate.
