    This will be a scenic coastal walk from Thirroul to Wollongong along the coastal path. Mostly on shared path, some parks, some nature reserves and some notable landmarks thrown in, finishing at Wollongong Station. Opportunities for coffee stops or less refreshing beverages along the way. The highlight of the walk, apart from your fellow walkers and the scenery, will be a fine dining luncheon experience at RJs Cafe Emporium of Exotic Australian Fare (known locally as RJs Beach Cafe and Takeaway). Known for big serves of food so eat light for the preceding week. When registering please provide your membership number and mobile phone number.

    A scenic walk starting at 9am from the east side of Lindfield Station via Two Creeks Track with views of Middle Harbour, Bantry Bay along the Magazine Track, Natural Bridge and finishing at the Currie Rd exit returning to Chatswood/City via Bus from Warringah Rd. Lunch is at The Austrian club @ 12.30pm offering live Austrian music, food, beer and gluhwein (mulled wine).

    This walk will be a combination of a couple of well known walks so that we can see several points of interest around Bobbin Head.  We will head down from the Sphinx Track, along the Warrimoo Track which hugs the beautiful Cowan Creek.  We will pass the Marina and head on to the start of the Gibberagong Track where will take the detour down to the rainforest and explore the creek.  We will backtrack past the Marina again and take the short steep climb up onto the fire trail, which should still have spring flowers in abundance.  There is also a site of aboriginal engravings, worth a look. Public Transport is available at the start or you may choose to drive yourself. Please provide your membership number and mobile when booking.

    Come and join Ed and me on this classic coastal walk.  We will be following the footpath (with a touch of road walking) from Bondi Beach to Maroubra.  Along the way we will be passing through parks, bays and on cliffs. The pace will be relaxed and there will be chance for a fish and chip lunch if you want.

    This section of the GNW explores some grand views, pleasant cascades, varied bushland and remote areas of Brisbane Waters National Park.  Meeting at Woy Woy train station we then catch the bus to Patonga for the start of the walk finishing at Wondabyne Station.     Details:

    Starting with a steep climb from Wondabyne Train Station we will explore a series of large rock platforms with wide views over the Brisbane Water National Park and Scopas Peak. After Scopas Peak we cross a few pleasant rocky gullies before crossing Piles Creek on the Phil Houghton Suspension Foot Bridge. Here the walk heads towards Mooney Mooney Creek before walking up to the Mooney Mooney Creek Track Head on the Old Pacific Highway to the dirt car park. Car pooling and a car shuffle will be required for this activity. When registering please provide your member number and mobile.

    Details:

    This section of the GNW takes us along dirt roads and trails alongside the wide Mooney Mooney Creek, and then under the M1 Mooney Mooney Bridge. The wide track continues upstream, passing a few campsites before crossing the wide creek at a pleasant large rock platform. Not too long after crossing the creek we will pass the lower Mooney Mooney Dam where the old trail leads you uphill past another campsite, a quarry to the Somersby Reservoir. The track then leads past some rural properties and across the delightful Robinson Creek among the Gymea Lilies before finishing with a section of road walking to the Somersby Store.
