    Details:

    Join us for a bush walk in Bouddi National Park Central Coast. Starting from Pretty Beach, we’ll complete a loop that takes us down to Lobster Beach and out to Box Head, winding through native bushland with spectacular coastal scenery. We then continue on to Killcare before returning to Pretty Beach along the Brisbane Waters waterfront reserve. The track includes paved paths, bush tracks, fire trails, road sections, and waterfront reserve. Some bush tracks are rocky and there are a few short, steep sections including the stairs leading down to Lobster Beach, but the pace will be relaxed.

    Join us on our last walk before our BIG overseas holiday. We will be meeting at Rhodes Train Station at roughly 9.30am. We then follow the Parramatta River and Chicken and Hen Bay to Canada Bay on well marked tracks. We will be finishing the walk with an optional lunch at the Canada Bay Club.  You will need ID to enter the Club and lunch will be at your expense. Following lunch we then catch a bus back to the City or to Burwood.

    The Club has had dinner here previously and we loved it. The food here is FABULOUS and you won’t come out hungry.  By the end of the night, you will be amazed how good vegetables can taste and the desserts are to die for. We will be meeting at the restaurant at 6pm for the banquet.  You can check out the restaurant and menu here.     Starting at North Sydney Station we will ramble across the Sydney Harbour Bridge then through the Rocks to Circular Quay then over to the Opera House then through the Botanic Gardens to Woolloomooloo then it’s up to Elizabeth Bay then down to Rushcutters Bay and then up, over and down to Double Bay then onto Rose Bay for a well deserved lunch and cold ale at the Rose Bay Pub!

    Join us for this classic walk in the Royal National Park with several water features. The walk starts at Engadine Station and follows the Engadine Track to Kangaroo Creek; Uloola Track to Uloola Falls; then the Karloo Track to Karloo Pool and Heathcote Station. This walk is all on bush tracks. There are some ascents and descents and 2 small creek crossings.

    BOOKINGS FROM 4th AUGUST ONLY. This Royal National Park mid-morning walk offers a variety of features including ocean views, rainforest with Cabbage Tree Palms, Elkhorn vines, pristine beaches, rock pools and more. On fire trail, bush tracks, one kilometre of rock hopping/platform walking to Figure 8 Pool (low tide at 2.17pm). Some minor rock scrambling. The pace will be moderate as we have some ground to cover. Suitable for fit walkers who are comfortable with rock hopping, scrambling and walking at a moderate pace. Joint walk with The Bush Club.

    Starting at Woy Woy Station we head over the Spike Milligan Bridge and then under the bridge where we then pick up the fire trail to start our ascent (2 very steep fire trails) up to the start of the Koolewong Ridge Fire Trail.  The walk is a beautiful meander through the canopy of trees with stunning views over Brisbane Waters.  We then cross over Corrumbine Creek and then pick up the Milyerra Road Fire Trail (a meander through the rainforest) which then takes us back to the main road.  We then head down one of the local streets to pick up the very picturesque water reserve which we follow finishing at Gosford Station and a recovery drink at the local pub.  A very pleasant day's walking guaranteed!  If you would like to view photos of this bushwalk then click here Woy Woy To Gosford Via Koolewong Ridge (remember you must be logged into the website).

    Details:

    Starting from Mangrove Mountain. This challenging circuit walk on designated fire trails is ideal for us adventurous bushwalkers who love to test themselves. The Dubbo Gully and Ten Mile Hollow Circuit combines several fire trails that lead through rugged and remote bushland and includes a section of the Old Great North Road built by convicts between 1826 -1836. Starting at Mangrove Mountain, we wind our way through Dubbo Gully, passing open fields and the historic St Thomas Cemetery and the historic Fairview Homestead.  Reaching the entrance to Dharug National Park we then head to Ten Mile Hollow Campground for a rest and relax over lunch.  From the campground we will connect with the Old Great North Road to Clares Bridge (the second oldest bridge on the mainland) and from here we then take the Donny’s Track Fire Trail which then loops us back onto the Dubbo Gully Track and back to our starting point.     Starting from Cowan Station. A hiking adventure on this very popular section of the Great North Walk, Cowan to Brooklyn, with scenery ranging from foreshore to ridge top lookouts going via picturesque Jerusalem Bay.  We then climb up over a series of ridges including a circumnavigation of Brooklyn Dam whilst enjoying a wonderful diversity of flora along the way arriving at Brooklyn for a recovery drink at the local pub.     This walk is a great way to explore the ridge-top bushland between Lisarow and Gosford. Starting from Lisarow Station we take a pleasant stroll through rural roads reaching St John's Lookout and then we head into the Rumbalara and Katandra Reserves, there are several picnic areas, lookouts and other facilities scattered along the way. At times you will forget you are anywhere near houses, and at other points you will be enjoying vistas of the Central Coast. The walk will be medium pace with a mixture of stair climbing, bush tracks and fire trails. Finishing at Gosford Station with a recovery drink at the local pub.     Join Ed and Denise on this inner city urban walk. We will meet at Central Station and catch the Light Rail to the SCG.  We then walk through Darlinghurst to the Paddington Reservoir to see the Hanging Gardens. We then walk onto Centennial Park, Waverley Park and Cooper Park finishing at Double Bay.  Some of the walk will be urban roads but the parks are worth it.  We will be starting at 10am and finishing by 3pm.
