    THIS ACTIVITY IS NOW FULL. Smiggin Holes is about 6 hours drive from Sydney. The Lodge has 11 bedrooms with a variety of single, double and bunk beds, all have ensuite bathrooms so there will be limited numbers depending on whether people are prepared to share rooms. The Lodge is well equipped with a large dining area and kitchen, a games room and laundry area. The kitchen has utensils, plates, pots, fridges and a microwave. There is no TV or Wifi. There are no shops or restaurants at Smiggin Holes so you have to supply your own food. You will need to pay for accommodation, provide your own food and your bedding. You will need to share the costs of car travel. Itinerary includes daily walks exploring the beautiful area all on well-made walking tracks.

    We will be meeting at Macquarie Uni Metro Station and walking through Christie Park and joining the Great North Walk.  We do have to cross the Lane Cove River via stepping stones. We then walk along the north side of Lane Cove River going underneath De Burghs Bridge and joining part of the Riverside Walk around to the south side of the Lane Cove River. We will be walking on well-marked bush tracks with a relaxed pace. After lunch we then walk up to Macquarie Park Metro Station via a bush track.

We will be meeting at St Leonards train station and walking to Artarmon train station via Flat Rock Gully and Tunks Park.  The walk is on well-marked bush tracks with 3 easy creek crossings and uneven rock steps in and out of Flat Rock Gully.  As it is mostly shady it will be a great summer walk.

    Starting with the Barrenjoey loop walk, this mid morning walk has some of the best coastal scenery in Sydney...from views up and down Pittwater to the panoramic views from Barrenjoey across the Hawkesbury Estuary to Lion Island, Broadwater and Bouddi National Park and down the coast to Careel Head and the headlands. The walk will continue from Palm Beach to Whale Beach via Bangalley Headland to Avalon, Bilgola and finally Newport. A coastal walk for those who prefer to walk and swim on Christmas Day! A joint walk with the Bush Club.

    Join Ed and Denise on this classic Sydney Harbour walk. We will walk around the headlands on well-marked bush tracks and paths from Balmoral around to Milsons Point. You can drop out on the way and make the walk a grade 2 and the pace will be relaxed.

    Join Ed and Denise on this classic walk in the Royal National Park (weather permitting). We will leave our cars at Garrawarra Farm and follow the track down to Burning Palms to Burning Palms Beach and then we will walk onto the Figure of Eight Pool.  We will be aiming to walk to the Pool in low tide as the Pool is on a rock shelf which is normally under water. Although there is a track to the Pool there may be slippery rocks but it will be worth it. We then retrace our steps to the beach and walk back to the cars via Burgh Ridge. Walking to the Figure of Eight Pool is optional and if you skip it, the walk will be a Grade 2.
