From Grassy Hill Fire trail we'll head down to the Colo via the Canoe creek track. Then follow the Colo for 2 klm to exit via Little Pass (pass 18) and return to the fire trail along the ridge tops overlooking the Colo on the way. Mostly unsurveyed. Be prepared to walk in the Colo, which is susceptable to unforseeable quicksand. The climb out will be very steep and possibly exposed in places. Expect unsurpassed views and a feeling of complete remoteness.
