Saturday: Lagoon Pitch to Wombat Creek camping area via The Corker. Walk with full pack.  Distance 8km, 810m ascent. Camping overnight at Wombat Creek. Optional trip to Carey’s Peak, 1544m, nearby, with expansive views of the area.
Sunday: Day walk from Wombat Creek: Edwards swamp, Junction Pools, return via Aeroplane Hill and Black Swamp. Gently undulating day walk in the Plateau region of Barrington Tops. Pass by ruins left behind from days when the area was used for summer grazing. 2 creek crossings. Distance 14.5km, maximum ascent 80m (total 230m), maximum descent 100m, total 170m). Camp overnight at Wombat Creek.
Monday: Return to Lagoon Pinch via The Corker. Walking is the same as Saturday, with full pack, but in reverse. Distance 7.75km, 810m descent.
Note:  this walk will be cancelled if rain forecast.
