This walk will be a combination of a couple of well known walks so that we can see several points of interest around Bobbin Head. We will head down from the Sphinx Track, along the Warrimoo Track which hugs the beautiful Cowan Creek. We will pass the Marina and head on to the start of the Gibberagong Track where will take the detour down to the rainforest and explore the creek. We will backtrack past the Marina again and take the short steep climb up onto the fire trail, which should still have spring flowers in abundance. There is also a site of aboriginal engravings, which hopefully will be open when we are there. Public Transport is available or we may carpool from Turramurra depending on numbers.
