Rockdale To Cronulla via Botany Bay - Saturday 3rd June 2023

Another stunning day for my annual trek from Rockdale to Cronulla!  Starting with our coffee heart starter at the Swallow Traders Cafe we then meandered down Bay Street to Brighton Le Sands where we then followed beautiful Botany Bay with a combination of beach and board walking all the way to the Captain Cook Bridge where we stopped for a relaxing lunch under the canopy of the trees with water views over Botany Bay.  We then trekked over the bridge to meet up with the Mangrove Board Walk which we followed to the Cronulla Sharks Football Stadium then an urban walk up to Wanda Beach then onto Cronulla where we stumbled into the Jazz Festival in the local park with the bonus being we discovered OMG donuts - made fresh whilst we waited and OMG they were so good!!!  A great day out full of sunshine, lots of chatter, laughter and fabulous company!
