This varied walk takes us from St. Ives Showground along fire trails and bush tracks down into a bushland section of Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, then steeply up to rejoin the fire trail.  There are some far reaching views along the way.  We then descend steeply off-track towards Keirans Creek, which we cross, before climbing steeply upwards to rejoin a track and then fire trail to complete the circuit. 

Please ensure that you can really make this date before booking on the walk.  The current weather forecast for that day is 60% chance of less than 1mm so if you don't like walking in light rain, best to wait until nearer the time to book on the walk so you can recheck the forecast nearer the time.  Obviously if torrential rain is forecasted the walk would be cancelled as the off track section would become too slippery.

There is plenty of parking at St. Ives Showground and this walk is accessible by public transport from Gordon Station and Mona Vale.
