From Cowan we follow the Great North Walk Track to Govetts Ridge where we head out towards Taffys Rock. Before we reach Taffys we head off track and proceed down a gradual ridge leading to Fishermans Beach on Cowan Creek / Hawkesbury. Here we'll have lunch and a welcome swim on a beach normally only accessed by boat. Mostly on good bush track with just the last 1km off track in relatively clear bush / undergrowth. Return the same route with another swim option at Jerusalem Bay if time permits. Joint walk with the Bush Club.
