A part exploratory walk, east of the Great North Walk, from Cowan Station via Jerusalem Bay. The objective is to try and reach Fisherman's Beach on Cowan Creek. The walk is on a bush track to Taffys Rock and from there is likely to be off-track and scrubby. Afterwards, we return to Taffys Rock and head to Cliff Trig. Cliff Trig was erected in 1882 as part of the trigonometrical survey of NSW. It consists of a large stone cairn and a mast, built on a high rock platform with superb panoramic views. There will be swimming opportunities if time allows.
