This walk will involve a combination of fire trails, bush tracks, off track and creek rock scrambling in the Marramarra NP, a rarely visited park very close to the city. Expect some nice views, pristine creek environments and some historical tracks.
The off track section and creek may be overgrown and the going may be slow (it has been a couple of years since I have been here), however the rest of the walk will be relatively straight forward. You will need off track gear such as gloves, glasses, long sleeves and pants in addition to your normal bush walking gear together with 3 litres of water. If the weather is not suitable the walk will be cancelled. Please contact me if you have any further questions, and also let me know if you will be making your own way to the start (Waddy Trail Head at 9.00am) or would like a lift from Pennant Hills Station. If driving also let me know if you are willing to car pool. I expect the walk to finish around 5pm. Joint walk with the Bush Club. Note: The Walk Leader does not insist on proof of any vaccinations.
