We start with a coffee at the local cafe before we board the ferry to the start of the walk on a fire trail. This will lead us past an historic grave before reaching the base of a waterfall. The walk to Birnie Lookout is on a bush track and includes a creek crossing where care is needed on the slippery rocks. There are extensive views over Pittwater from the lookout. We then make our descent to Halls Wharf via bush tracks and a fire trail. The ferry cost is $15 return and $9 for concession. Car Pooling is required for this activity so please check with the Walk Leader for approximate cost and if you are willing to assist with the car pool.
