From Lapstone station we descend to the Nepean River and follow a track that leads steeply up to the Portal Lookout, for views over western Sydney. A short steep section of scrambling/climbing is required to reach the top. From here we follow the Portal Trail and get a view over Glenbrook Creek where we will be later in the day! A bush track takes us down to Jellybean Pools (optional swim) and then it's an off track walk along Glenbrook Creek, back to where we left it earlier in the day (this section requires good balance but is easily negotiated), and then back to where we started at Lapstone station. Proof of double vaccination required at the start.
