Onwards towards Newcastle, a bit at a time. This stage is a little shorter than the last two, though it's a bit up-and-downy still. Station-to-station again, so easy transport. We descend onto the Great North Walk proper, and pass through Berowra Waters, then up a bit for some fine water views from above. Then a few more ups and downs and out to Cowan. Note the Grade 3 rating, but note also that it calculates out to be pretty close to the Grade 3 - Grade 4 boundary. (Happy to conduct an on-walk workshop on the complexities of grading science, if you're specially keen!)
