This lovely walk conveniently starts at Waterfall Train Station in the Royal National Park.  We will take the fire trail for a short section before we join the scenic Couranga Track which descends slowly down to the Hacking River.  We walk through changing ecosystems - bush and heath, before hitting the rainforest.  When we get to the river, we aim to cross over and join the delightful Forest Path Track for approx 4-5km. Be prepared to get wet feet! However, note there is a possibility that the river will be impassable if there is too much rain, in which case, we will have to miss this section. We return the way we came, with a climb back up to the train station and home.  Please provide both membership number and mobile when booking.
