A few months ago we walked the Great West Walk, the long-distance route from Parramatta to Penrith. This is what you're supposed to do. But this time we'll cycle it, and all in one day (instead of four). It's quite a long ride, involving mostly roads and footpath-cycleways, but some parts are on walking tracks. We'll return by train.
