Another very successful history walk through the beautiful and historic township of Windsor.  After our usual meet and greet we left Windsor Train Station and walked to our first heritage highlight St Matthews Anglican Church, Cemetery and Rectory. It was here we discovered headstones of those from the First Fleet dating back to 1868 then from here we followed the history trail into Windsor Town Centre exploring and discovering many places of heritage interests along the way (which are highlighted in the photo gallery).  After exploring the first part of the history trail we then sat down to a very enjoyable and delicious lunch at the Bridge Cafe.  Following lunch we continued our history trail with a wander to the outskirts of Windsor through the beautiful countryside to discover the first observatory built in 1863.  After a very chilly start to the morning the sun gods blessed us with the most perfect weather for a perfect day out with a perfect bunch which included Leah, Michele, Len, George, Garry, Pan, Ivone, Jasmin and Francois.  Linda Park was to join us but unfortunately due to train disruptions she wasn't able to make it.
