Great West Walk Part 3 - Rooty Hill to Ropes Crossing Sunday 23 February 2020

The third stage of our epic adventure along this recently launched long-distance track through Western Sydney. Highlights included the Great Western Highway, some enormous high tension power lines, abandoned shopping trolleys, and a rather spectacular recently-burnt-out car. There were also some nice green parks after the recent rains, encounters with kangaroos, a weird Pompei-style scene involving unsuspecting quick-dried tadpoles, and we quite liked the new suburb of Ropes Crossing. Thanks Mollie, Connie, Pan, Len, and Stephen for joining me today.
