Large beach open to ocean but protected by tip of promontory. Always a great range of marine life, mainly along shoreline near Promenade. Pay parking is available in carpark or time-limited parking in Bower Street. Otherwise catch the Manly Ferry and walk over via the Promenade. Start from 11:00 am onwards. BYO snorkel gear (wetsuits recommended this early in season) plus food & drink or use nearby kiosk.
