A walk mainly on bush tracks beside Cowan Creek with mangroves, shell middens and large trees. We pass through the marina and picnic grounds of Bobbin Head before walking over the low ridge to Apple Tree Bay. There are more picnic grounds here and a boat ramp before we cross a small bridge to the bush track. This track follows the water for a short distance before ascending on the way to Mount Kuring-gai Station.
