This activity involves a ferry trip, a beach walk before taking a bush track to West Head Lookout via Resolute Beach. There will be a swimming opportunity along the way. West Head Lookout has extensive views which we can enjoy before descending to the WWII Bunkers and Search Light site. Initially this descent will be on a well graded path but the final descent will be on near vertical steel ladders. The ascent will be the way we came and possibly the most physically challenging for the day. We take a bush track to the Resolute Picnic Ground and out to a lookout via the Koolewong Track. The last feature for the day is aboriginal hand stencils in an overhang before we return to Great Mackerel Beach.
