This is a sheltered beach (ie calm water), with grassy areas behind the sand, some picnic tables and benches, and a public toilet nearby. There is parking in New Street, then walk down the steps to the beach. BYO snorkel gear (wetsuits recommended this early in the season) plus food & drink (as there is no kiosk). Start from 11:00am onwards.
