From Manly we will leave the beaten tracks at Shelley Beach and follow the shore line under the cliffs to Blue Fish Point. From there it's up to North Head and then a small section of bush track to Quarantine Head. Depending on the tide we may follow the shore line from the Quarantine Station to Collins Beach. The shore line section from Shelley Beach to Blue Fish Point will involve a lot of rock scrambling and sure footing is essential. The walk is timed for low tide as one section is impassable if the tide is in.
