A big thank you to our group leader Len for organising brilliant weather for our trek from Patonga to Woy Woy via a section of the Great North Walk.  After an interesting bus ride (LOL you had to be there!) from Woy Woy station to Patonga we started with a pleasant stroll across the beach to then start our climb up the mountain.  Oh we just love those early morning chilly climbs don't we ... once we huffed and puffed our way to the top Len then took us on a diversion to Elephant Rock for our morning tea stop.  We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our cup of tea with views to die for!   All in all a very pleasant day out with lots of great walking tracks and not too many mountains to conquer and of course great company including Len, Anne, George, Daniel, Mirren, Jan, Candace, Nick and Leah.  Once back to Woy Woy we all enjoyed a 'recovery drink' at the local pub! Hope you enjoy the photos!
