Manly Quarantine Station Historic Ghost Tour
Location
A night tour of the historic quarantine station at North Head, used from the 1830's to 1984 to prevent the potentially infectious from catching something worse from the rest of us.
A chance to grapple with a ghost and boogy with a boogy man and learn about this historic site and it's place in Australia's past.
This is a walking tour lit by hurricane lamps and will involve some slight uphills and down plus some stairs, but nothing too arduous.
Plan A is to meet at Manly Wharf 6:00pm for those who want a pub dinner and then proceed to the station entrance for the 8pm start. This may involve a 3 km walk or car pool.
Tour runs for 2.5 hours but may be quicker if you see something scary.
Tour cost is $49 for adults, $44 students and pensioners.
If we get a group of 20 we qualify for a private tour so early booking or expression of interest would be welcome.
As Dame Edna would say, "Spooky....."
