From Bob Turners track we walk a short distance up the Colo River and then cut inland to the top of Parr South mountain. Then taking pass 30(b) we drop back into the Colo River at Kings Rapids. From here we follow the river via Mailes Cave back to Bob Turners. There will be a combination of bush track, bush bashing (unsurveyed) and Colo River walking. Expect difficult terrain, rock scrambling, getting wet, river crossings / walking and possibly quick sand! For the adventurous this will be a walk to remember. 550 mtrs of both ascents and descents. 16 klms all up. Early start and late finish!
