Browns Ridge to Grose River, BMNP - 21 October 2018

In overcast and humid conditions, a foray along Browns Ridge to the end of the firetrail resulted in finding a (to us) unknown marked route down the steep ridge to the Grose River, featuring tape, cairns and enormous quantities of bicoloured rope, the bulk of which had been left near the river, still in its plastic sack.  After crossing the river and a brief reconnoitre along remains of Engineers Track, we crossed back over the river before ascending the ridge via another route.  Wildflowers were out in glorious abundance to make up for the gloomy skies.
