Traditionally, the Socialgaine is one of the less challenging rogaines, often incorporating a mix of urban and bush terrain. The location for this year's Socialgaine will be in Berowra Valley National Park.  Further details relating to starting times, costs etc will be advised closer to the date when available

Rogaining involves navigating a course as part of a team (2-5 people) using only a map and compass to find controls (worth points) within a set timeframe.  Teams compete against other teams in a range of age/gender categories.  So if you want to improve your navigation skills in the safety of numbers and have a competitive streak, why not try rogaining!

If you are interested in taking part as a member of an ANB team, please contact me by Thursday 15 November (preferably sooner) to secure a place. This year the organisers are trialling two formats for the Socialgaine, 4 hours or 8 hours, so please let me know which format you would prefer.
