Mt Kembla Summit & Circuit, Illawarra SCA - Sunday 8 July 2018

 A glorious winter's day made for stunning views from atop Mt Kembla and a pleasant ramble along the Ring track encircling the mountain.  Cabbage tree palms still abound but invasive stinging trees are more evident in clearings. Visits to the historical mine adits and the Windy Gully cemetery commemorating the 1902 mining disaster completed a walk full of variety and interest.  Photos: Nick Collins & Charles Bowden
