The 2km. Girrakool loop is mainly on flat bush tracks with occasional steps.

It features an aboriginal rock engraving site and scenic waterfalls.

The Piles Creek loop is on bush tracks, initially high above the creek, but descending via steep steps (with handrails) to the creek.

Along the way enjoy views of a waterfall and the creek below.

At the creek there is a suspension bridge to cross.

There is an optional side trip here of 3.4 km. of flat walking on bush tracks to Mooney Mooney Creek.

Mangroves and aboriginal middens are some of the features.

The second part of the loop on the other side of the suspension bridge ascends more gently via a series of steps and zig zags.

Interesting overhangs and rock formations feature.

We cross a side creek on concrete stepping stones.
