In the heat of summer this walk makes a welcome change with most of it under the canopy of dense bushland and majestic trees.
We start at Springwood train station and slowly descend the valley to the Glenbrook Creek. If time permits, there is a great spot for a dip in the creek.
After a break for lunch, we slowly make our way uphill following the Fairy Dell track alongside the Magdala Creek. If there has been rain, there are a series of beautiful waterfalls through this section.
If any members are interested in a further extension, we may add on Martins Lookout but this will make it a grade 4 walk. the climb is steep and nasty!
