One of the classic walks in Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. We will start at the park entrance and pass the Sphinx Memorial. Looping down through temperate rainforest along the Cowan Creek to the Bobbin Head Marina, where we can stop for lunch. The return leg passes through the mangroves and along Cockle Creek up to the Gibberagong Waterhole. A final steep climb at the end to return back on the road to the start.
Public transport is possible with train to Turramurra and then 577 bus to Du Faur St.
Depending on numbers,car pool may be preferable.
