Mt Banks is a peak in the upper Blue Mountains which was named by George Caley in the early 1800's.  Although there are no views on the summit of Mt Banks (too many trees) the views on the climb to the top are spectacular.

After climbing to the summit we will decend along a different track and then continue along a fire trail which gives spectacular views to Lockley Pylon and into the Gross River gourge.

We will car pool from Strathfield with a possible pick up point at the North Richmond bakery.
