Great views west over the Nepean River gorge and across into Blue Mountains NP as well as glimpses of farmland and dry sclerophyll forest to the east. Nice secluded lunch spot from which to view and halloo the paddleboat that plies that section of the river.
The walk is mostly on tracks (some overgrown) and firetrails, plus a 70m scrambly offtrack descent which links two tracks. Meet 8:30am Strathfield Square for car pool.
