Mayingu Marrugu is an aboriginal art site in the Newnes State forest.  There are some great views of the Gardens of Stone NP from here. This area which hopefully will one day be part of an enlarged Gardens of Stone National Park.

Typically, our Thursday surveys are difficult to predict in terms of statistics and level of difficulty. Distance, terrain, skill and difficulty depend on what we come up against.

This walk should not be too challenging, but you just never know. We intend to explore beyond the main walk, so there will definitely be a lot of scrambling and likely some navigational challenges too.

Early start. Car pool from Sydney.
