Come out west and try delicious Ethiopian food at the Aaboll Cafe in Merrylands (140 Merrylands Road), close to the railway station. While there is a communal eating option (from a large platter made of injera flatbread), you can also order separate dishes instead. Vegetarian food is a staple of Ethiopian cuisine but there are also plenty of meat dishes and the coffee is a must. This eatery now has a BYO licence so wine and beer can be brought to consume with the meal. Please note this venue does not sell alcoholic beverages.
