Autumn Rogaine

Rogaining is a competitive event with teams of 2-5 people using a map (paper) and compass (magnetic) to find your way to controls (worth points) in a given area (usually several km2).  Electronic devices of any kind (GPS, altimeters, mobile phones etc) cannot be used to navigate to the course.

It's great way to hone your bushwalking navigation skills in a friendly environment with the support of your team members.  Details of location and times  and costs etc are only released a couple of weeks prior to the event but this event will purportedly take place somewhere between Sydney and Canberra. If you are interested in participating and being a member of an ANB team, please contact me.  No prior experience necessary!
