Sheltered beach with netted swimming area. There are grassy banks & a toilet/changing block Free & non-limited parking in New Street from where you walk down steps to beach About 2km walk from Manly ferry wharf.

A feature of this location is the short walk (on coast track) to Reef Beach and then snorkel back to 40 Baskets Beach, all in North Harbour Aquatic Reserve.

Starting from 11:00am, BYO food & drink (no café nearby).  If you need to borrow snorkelling gear, please contact me as I have some available for loan.

NB  Snorkelling is a fine weather activity.  Cancellation will occur (and at relatively short notice) if there has been heavy rain the day before (visibility and/or health risks due to runoff) or if it's overcast/raining on the dayor if there are strong winds/swells or excessively cold temperatures, for example.  If in doubt, check with me first.
