Stanwell Park to Austinmer via Sublime Point

Early spring walk from Stanwell Park Station via Wodi Wodi Track, Forest Path, Sublime Point, Bulli Lookout Track and Gibson Track to Austinmer Station.  Should be plenty of wildflowers (including waratahs and gymea lilies if we're fortunate) and great coastal views if the weather is fine.

There is one steep 150m ascent, several shorter steep pinches and one long steep descent of some 350m involving ladders.  The route is a mixture of narrow, at times muddy, uneven and undulating tracks to metal walkways and sandy firetrails, as well as steps and ladders.  There may be one short (optional) tangential offtrack visit along a creek to the foot of the ancient and impressive railway viaduct near Stanwell Park.

Meet at the carpark at Stanwell Park railway station at 7:31am (when the train arrives).  NB: I aim to finish the walk by 4:55pm at Austinmer station so we can catch the train back, otherwise it's another 2 hours before the next train.  So be prepared to hustle along if I feel that we are getting behind time!
