This walk will follow Ironpot Ridge all the way to Goolara Peak before dropping down to Cox's River.  It then follows Cox's River upstream to Bowtell's Swing Bridge where the Six Foot Track continues on to Megalong Valley Road.

There are 3 km of firetrail and 3 km of offtrack; the rest is on track, mostly alongside the river.  The offtrack section is on a sparsely vegetated ridgetop under tree cover with some boulder scrambling but no vertical exposure.  There will be swimming opportunities in Cox's River so bring bathers and towel.

Meet at Strathfield Square beside fountain at 7:30am for car pool & shuffle. Driving time to start is about 2 hours.  At least 2 cars required so attendance numbers may be limited depending on vehicle availability.  Anticipate a stop for a meal on the way back to Sydney.
