Day 1, 400m ascent to Carlon Head via Mannings Chains (some exposure, rock climbing skills required). Rope will be provided to haul packs). Distance 12km – Grade 4
Day 2, Day pack walk from camp (optional). Leisurely traverse of the Wild Dogs with the opportunity to explore below/beyond Splendour Rock.
Day 3, 300m ascent, distance 10km. Return at easy pace to Dunphy’s Carpark with full packs via Black Horse Ridge, Carlon Creek.
