This is a 3-day trip.

Day 1, Oct 4 Sat - Drive to Mountain Creek Campground (near a town called Mt Beauty).  Sleep overnight there.

Day 2, Oct 5 Sun - Climb Mt Bogong, highest mountain in Vic

- Start early from Mountain Creek Campground.

- Take Eskdale Spur trail to Bogong summit.

- Return via The Staircase trail.

- Drive to Harrietville.

- Sleep overnight at a Harrietville Campground.

- Ascents: 1400m; Descents: 1400m; Distance: 20km, Total walk time: 8 to 9 hrs

Day 3, Oct 6 Mon - Climb Mt Feathertop, 2nd highest mountain in Vic.  (A car shuffle is required.)

- Very early morning, take one car to Diamantina Hut at Mt Hotham.

- Walk on The Razorback trail to Feathertop summit.

- Descend via Bungalow Spur trail to Harrietville.

- Drive back to Diamantina Hut to pick up the car.

- Drive to Sydney for the night.

- Ascents: 250m; Descents: 1400m; Distanc: 21km; Total walk time: 7.5 hrs.
