This is a training walk only where Ed and I will mentor those club members who are new to leading or intend to put on a walk on the programme this year. We will be covering topics such as legal requirements, how to choose a suitable walk, how to organise a walk and navigation. We will be bringing some bushwalking books along so you can choose a suitable walk for the new programme or we can discuss any walks you would like to lead. We will be practising our navigation on a walk in the Lane Cove National Park.
