Rogaining is the art of navigating in the bush using a printed map and a compass - no electronic instruments are allowed - in a team of 2-5 people.  It's a great way to acquire or reinforce an essential bushwalking skill and you have the comfort & safety of doing it with others.  Points are gained for successfully finding controls within a specified timeframe so there is a competitive element too!

The Autumn rogaine will be a 6-hour event (ie in daylight), usually somewhere in bush surroundings, sometime involving an overnight car camp after the event, so pencil in Saturday evening too. More information will be provided in late April or beginning of May but mark your diaries now!
